South Korean vocalist and actor DOH KYUNG SOO (D.O.) holds his solo concert tour 2026-2027 DOH KYUNG SOO CONCERT TOUR [DAY OFF] IN SEOUL over three days from October 2 (Fri) to October 4 (Sun), 2026, at KINTEX Exhibition Center 1, Hall 5. The event was relocated from its original Olympic Park venue due to safety concerns caused by prolonged local demonstrations, prompting a complete re-ticketing process.

The concert begins at 19:30 on Friday, October 2, and at 17:00 on both Saturday, October 3, and Sunday, October 4. Doors open 90 minutes before showtime. The fastest and most reliable way to reach KINTEX from downtown Seoul is the GTX-A express line. Boarding at Seoul Station takes approximately 16 minutes without transfers to KINTEX Station, and the organizer puts Exhibition Center 1 about 10 minutes on foot from Exit 1. This guide follows the organizer’s on-site operations notice on the Ticketlink product page.

Key Concert Details and Re-ticketing Schedule#

The venue relocation from Olympic Park’s tiered arena to KINTEX Hall 5 necessitated a revised seating layout. Consequently, all previous tickets were automatically cancelled and refunded as of 14:00 KST on September 8. New tickets must be purchased through Ticketlink according to the updated timeline.

How to Get to KINTEX Exhibition Center 1 Hall 5#

Early October coincides with South Korea’s National Foundation Day holiday weekend, which typically generates heavy highway congestion along Jayu-ro and the Seoul Ring Expressway. Rail transit is strongly recommended to guarantee arrival on schedule.

  • GTX-A (KINTEX Station): The fastest rail transit from central Seoul. Trains connect Seoul Station to KINTEX Station in about 16 minutes (GTX-A Official Timetable and Fares). The organizer puts Exhibition Center 1 about 10 minutes on foot from KINTEX Station Exit 1.
  • Seoul Subway Line 3 (Daehwa Station): Daehwa is the terminal station on Line 3. The organizer says it is about a 20-minute walk from Exit 1 or 2 to Exhibition Center 1.
  • From the Airports:
    • Gimpo Airport (GMP): Take the Seohae Line from Gimpo Airport to Daegok Station, then transfer to the GTX-A line to KINTEX Station (approx. 40 minutes total).
    • Incheon Airport (ICN): Take the AREX commuter train to Seoul Station and transfer to the GTX-A line, or take Airport Bus 3300 directly to Daehwa Station.

Seating and Acoustic Characteristics of Hall 5#

KINTEX Hall 5 is a flat exhibition convention hall rather than a purpose-built arena. Keep the following operational realities in mind:

  • Floor and Tiered Sections: Sections A–N are chairs on the flat floor; sections 가–라 are tiered seating. Mid-to-rear floor rows may have obscured views if taller patrons sit directly in front.
  • Large LED Screens: The organizer installs oversized LED display screens flanking both sides of the main stage, offering clear views of performance details and facial expressions. Bringing compact 8x–10x binoculars or opera glasses helps track stage choreography from rear blocks.
  • Seat Cushions: Padded portable cushions or folded jackets are recommended, as temporary convention chairs can become uncomfortable over a two-hour performance.

Lockers, Restrooms, and Concessions#

  • Building Coin Lockers: Beside the entrances to Halls 1–4 of Exhibition Center 1.
    • Fees: Small 1,000 KRW / Medium 2,000 KRW / Large 3,000 KRW (credit cards, Samsung Pay, T-money and cash accepted).
    • There are not many, so leave big bags at your hotel or the Daehwa Station lockers. Read KINTEX luggage storage guide for details.
  • Restrooms: There is no re-entry, so go before you enter. Restrooms toward Halls 1–3 may be less crowded than the ones right outside Hall 5.
  • Water & Refreshments: Convenience stores and cafes operate in the 1st-floor lobby. Nothing except capped bottled water may be taken into the hall.

Post-Concert Departure and Traffic Routing#

The organizer lists a 120-minute running time. Friday’s show ends around 21:30 and the weekend shows around 19:00. Everyone leaves through the Hall 5 gates at once, so plan your route home in advance.

  • GTX-A KINTEX Station: Offers the fastest connection back to Seoul Station. However, when large crowds arrive simultaneously, station personnel may impose surface-level metering at the entrance to prevent platform overcrowding.
  • Subway Line 3 (Daehwa Station): Walking about 20 minutes to Daehwa Station Exit 1 or 2 offers an easy alternative. Because Daehwa is the terminal station of Line 3, departing trains are empty, ensuring a seated trip towards central Seoul. See Daehwa Station to Seoul Station for late-night schedules.
  • Co-occurring Venue Events: During the same weekend, LANY plays at Exhibition Center 2 Hall 9 (Oct 3), SeeYa performs at Hall 10B (Oct 4), and the Art Pop Gyeonggi exhibition runs at Hall 6C. Stay on designated outdoor walkways rather than the enclosed concourse connecting Centers 1 and 2 to bypass congestion.

Critical Reminders for Global Visitors#

  • Physical Passport Required: Non-Korean ticket holders who booked through Ticketlink Global must present their physical passport and printed booking confirmation at the will-call booth. Photocopies or smartphone screenshots are generally rejected.
  • Transit Cards: Korean buses, subways, and GTX require a physical T-money card or equivalent prepaid transit pass. Purchase and top up your card with Korean Won cash at convenience stores upon arrival.
  • Same-Day Airport Departures: If you plan to fly out on Sunday night (Oct 4), ensure your flight departs late. Travel from KINTEX to Incheon Airport takes 70–90 minutes; leave the venue immediately after the roughly 19:00 finish to fulfill the recommended 3-hour international check-in window.

FAQ

What time do the gates open and when does the concert start?

On Friday, October 2, the show begins at 19:30, with doors opening at 18:00. On Saturday, October 3, and Sunday, October 4, the show starts at 17:00, with doors opening at 15:30. The on-site ticket booth opens five hours before each show (14:30 on Oct 2, 12:00 on Oct 3–4), and VIP soundcheck entry is at 16:30 on Oct 2 and 14:00 on Oct 3–4.

Why was the venue relocated from Olympic Park to KINTEX, and what happened to existing tickets?

Due to safety precautions surrounding prolonged public demonstrations near Olympic Park, the venue was moved to KINTEX Exhibition Center 1 Hall 5 on September 8. All prior tickets purchased for the Olympic Park venue were automatically cancelled and refunded in full. After two rounds of fanclub presales, general sales opened on Ticketlink on Monday, September 21, at 20:00 KST. Booking for the October 4 show now closes at 09:00 KST on October 4.

How do I reach KINTEX Exhibition Center 1 Hall 5 by public transport?

Take the GTX-A line from Seoul Station to KINTEX Station (approx. 16 minutes non-stop). The organizer says Exhibition Center 1 is about a 10-minute walk from KINTEX Station Exit 1. Alternatively, take Seoul Subway Line 3 to Daehwa Station (대화역) and walk about 20 minutes from Exit 1 or 2.

Can I re-enter the hall, and can I bring drinks?

No re-entry: once you are inside the hall, leaving means you cannot come back in. Nothing to eat or drink is allowed except capped bottled water. KINTEX has building coin lockers beside the entrances to Halls 1–4 of Exhibition Center 1 (1,000 / 2,000 / 3,000 KRW), but there are not many, so leave big bags at your hotel.
