Privacy Policy

GOYANGCON has no accounts, no sign-in, and no comments. There is no field anywhere on the site that asks for your name, your contact details, or your date of birth. What follows describes the data that is nonetheless collected or transmitted as you browse.

What we do not collect

• Account information — there is nothing to sign up for
• Payment information — we take no payments on this site
• Location data — we never request browser location permission
• Any contact details beyond an email you choose to send us

Analytics

We use two analytics tools to understand what needs improving.

• Google Analytics 4 — aggregates page views, referrers, approximate location (city level), device and browser type, and movement between pages. IP addresses are anonymised by Google and not stored.
• Vercel Analytics — aggregates page views and performance metrics without using cookies.

Neither identifies you individually, and we cannot query these statistics at the level of a single person. Data is kept for each service's default retention period (14 months for GA4) and deleted automatically after that. Both services run on servers outside Korea, so this data is transferred internationally.

Cookies

Analytics tools and third-party services may store cookies in your browser. GOYANGCON does not show a cookie consent banner; if you would rather not accept them, block or clear them in your browser settings. Doing so does not affect your ability to read anything here.

Third-party advertising

GOYANGCON does not use third-party ad networks, including Google AdSense, and does not show ads personalised from your browsing history.

Affiliate links and outbound services

Some articles end with one affiliate link to a booking site. When you follow it, the partner sets a cookie on its own site so it can record that the booking came through GOYANGCON. We never receive who booked what — only a commission total. Articles also link out to official ticket sellers, venues, and transport operators. Once you follow any outbound link, that site's own privacy policy applies. The details are in the affiliate disclosure.

Your rights

Because GOYANGCON holds no information that identifies you, there is nothing to request access to, correct, or delete. If you would prefer not to be counted in analytics at all, use your browser's tracking protection or the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
