About GOYANGCON

GOYANGCON is a local guide for people heading to Goyang Stadium, KINTEX, or Goyang Aram Nuri for the first time. It exists so that the travel and timing around a show do not go wrong. It is not a concert magazine or a general tourism portal — it is a tool you reopen several times while you are already on the move.

We started in July 2026 and publish the same information in Korean and English. Every article has to pass one test: does this solve a first-time visitor's travel, waiting, food, or getting-home problem faster?

What we cover

• Events — dates, tickets, door times, and the constraints specific to that one show
• Getting here — routes, journey times, fares, and transfers by origin
• Waiting and food — places that suit the situation, with the conditions that matter (seating, power outlets, luggage, solo dining)
• Getting back — spreading out the exit crowd, last trains, airport links
• Essentials — lockers, parking, restrooms, transit cards
• City Notes — the "why is it like this" layer the practical guides do not answer, argued from data

How we verify

Transport, opening hours, and event schedules change. Rather than hide that, every article states the date its information was last checked — that is the verification line at the foot of each page.

We prefer sources in this order:

1. The event's official site and official ticketing partner
2. Venue official sites (KINTEX, Goyang Aram Nuri, Goyang Facilities Management Corp.)
3. Transit operators (Seoul Metro, Korail, GTX-A timetables)
4. Municipal and public bodies (Goyang City)
5. The venue's or business's own channels
6. Mapping services (Naver, Kakao, Google)
7. Visiting and checking in person
8. Reputable press and secondary material

The numbers in an article — journey times, distances, fares, exit numbers, last-train times — come from an internal dataset where each row carries its own source and check date. Figures we have not confirmed do not get published, and estimates are labelled as estimates. The seat view simulator is the clearest case: it states on screen that it computes from published venue dimensions, and that what you see is a render rather than a photograph.

Link checks and a full build have to pass before anything ships. Things still slip through — which is what the corrections policy below is for.

What we do not do

• We do not sell tickets. Booking is always a link out to the official seller.
• We do not reorder recommendations for commission. Commercial relationships are disclosed in our affiliate disclosure.
• We do not present unverified information as verified.
• We do not list only the upside. If an option is slower, pricier, or more crowded, that goes in too.

Corrections

If something here does not match reality, tell us. Once confirmed we fix the text and reset the verification date. Corrections to matters of fact are noted rather than quietly overwritten. Reach us through the contact page or at goyangcon.support@gmail.com.

Who runs this, and how it is funded

GOYANGCON is an independently run site. It has no employment or contract relationship with any venue, promoter, or ticketing company. There are currently no affiliate links on the site.
