KINTEX Halls 4 + 5: Long-Wall Stage, Tiered Seats on Three Sides

KINTEX Halls 4 + 5 combined is two 63 × 171 m halls with the partition out: 126 × 171 m. The Post Malone (2023) and Maroon 5 (2027) seat maps both put the stage on the 171 m long wall, and both mark the two pillars standing on the old Hall 4/Hall 5 line — which is how you can tell. The pillars are 63 m from the stage wall and 63 m apart.

Standing fills four sections in two rows in front of the stage; this page splits each wide section into an inner and an outer block. The middle row of the front inner blocks is about 30 m out; the middle row of the back outer blocks is about 79 m. On the flat floor, a 170 cm fan behind a 175 cm fan loses both the deck and the performer’s face.

The tiered seats run down both sides and across the back. The side blocks look at the stage roughly 44–65° off its centreline, with middle rows about 79–103 m out; the back blocks are closer to head-on but the furthest away, about 101–123 m. On the numbers both see over a seated row, and neither is close enough to read faces unaided.

The representative layout is those two maps scaled by the pillar spacing. Runway length and block count change with every show, so read it alongside your own show’s seating map.

  • If the person in front stands, the stage deck goes out of sight. What you keep is the artist above it and the screen.
  • With them standing, the bottom of the screen goes too.

Frequently asked questions

Where are the pillars in KINTEX Halls 4 + 5?

Two pillars stand on the line where Hall 4 meets Hall 5. With the stage on the long wall they are 63 m from the stage wall and 63 m apart, which puts them inside the back standing sections on the representative layout. Both the Post Malone and Maroon 5 seat maps marked them.

Side tiered seats or back tiered seats in Halls 4 + 5?

The side blocks are closer (middle rows about 79–103 m); the back blocks are closer to head-on (about 101–123 m). Side if you want the stage a little nearer, back if you want it square on. Both see over a seated person in front.

Didn’t people complain about the view at Post Malone?

Yes — after the 2023 show there were reports that fans at the back of the standing floor could barely see the stage or the screens. That is the same thing this page computes: on a flat standing floor, the height of the person in front decides your view. If you are at the back, find out where the screens are first.
