Soundberry Festa 2026 (SOUNDBERRY FESTA ‘26) will take place from July 18 (Saturday) to July 19 (Sunday) at KINTEX Exhibition Center 2 (킨텍스 제2전시장) in Hall 9. The ticket and wristband exchange booths open at 10:00 AM, gates open at 11:00 AM, and the performances start at 12:00 PM (noon). To reach the venue from central Seoul, we highly recommend taking the high-speed GTX-A train from Seoul Station directly to KINTEX Station, taking only about 16 to 17 minutes.

On the same weekend (July 18–19), a massive anime subculture convention, Comic World Summer 2026 (코믹월드), will be held at KINTEX Exhibition Center 1. Since over 30,000 people are expected to gather in the area, traffic will be congested. Use this guide to optimize your route and ensure a smooth festival experience. Transport and ticket information is verified as of July 13, 2026.

Ticket Exchange & Wristband Pick-up#

Before entering the performance hall, you must verify your ticket at the booth and exchange it for an entry wristband.

  • Wristband Booth Opens: 10:00 AM (2 hours before start)
  • Gates Open: 11:00 AM (1 hour before start)
  • Required Documents: Mobile or printed booking confirmation and the physical passport or national ID card of the ticket purchaser.
  • Important Note: If you bought a 2-Day Pass, you must keep the wristband on your wrist overnight. If the wristband is cut or damaged, you cannot re-enter on the second day.

Driving to KINTEX is highly discouraged due to traffic and parking limitations. Taking the railway network is the most predictable way to arrive on time.

The fare is 4,200 KRW between Seoul Station and KINTEX Station (based on a weekday single-use transit card; basic fare starts at 3,300 KRW. Check detailed fares on the official GTX-A website). Take the exit marked for Exhibition Center 2 and follow the signs.
  • Subway Line 3 Daehwa Station (대화역): A standard subway alternative. Take Subway Line 3 to the terminal station, Daehwa Station, take Exit 3 (3번 출구), and walk for about 15 to 20 minutes to KINTEX.
  • From Airports: If you have a T-money transport card, you can take AREX to Seoul Station and transfer to the GTX-A line, which avoids road traffic.

For more details on airport routes, check the Incheon Airport to KINTEX Guide.

Concurrent Events & Avoiding Weekend Crowds#

Since Comic World Summer 2026 is held at KINTEX Exhibition Center 1 (Halls 2–5) on the exact same dates, parking lots will fill up by 9:30 AM.

  • Transport Recommendation: Avoid taking taxis or driving. The roads surrounding KINTEX will be backed up. Use the GTX-A line as your primary transit method.
  • Arrival Timing: Comic World queues start building up as early as 9:00 AM. If you want to avoid peak queues at the ticket exchange, arrive around 10:00 AM to get your wristband early, or wait until after 11:30 AM when the initial entry rush subsides.

Lockers & Storage Information#

  • KINTEX Center 2 Lockers: Digital lockers are available on the 1st floor lobby of Exhibition Center 2 (near Hall 9). Fees range from 1,000 KRW to 3,000 KRW.
  • Large Suitcase Backup: Since these lockers fill up extremely fast on double-event weekends, large travel bags may not fit. You can walk or take a short taxi to Daehwa Station and use the private smart storage service, Keep24 Daehwa Station Exit 4 (대화역 04점), which has 11 large lockers fitting 28–30 inch suitcases.
  • For step-by-step instructions on luggage, read the KINTEX Luggage Storage Guide.

FAQ

When can I exchange my ticket for a wristband?

The ticket and wristband exchange booths open at 10:00 AM on both days. The main gates open at 11:00 AM, and the performances start at 12:00 PM (noon). Make sure to bring your booking confirmation (mobile or printout) and the physical ID of the ticket purchaser.

How do I reach KINTEX Exhibition Center 2?

If you are coming from central Seoul, the fastest route is taking the GTX-A high-speed rail from Seoul Station to KINTEX Station. It takes about 16 to 17 minutes, and you can walk to Exhibition Center 2 from the station. Alternatively, you can take Subway Line 3 to Daehwa Station.

Will the venue be crowded during the weekend?

Yes, heavily. On the same weekend (July 18–19), a major anime event called Comic World Summer 2026 will be held at KINTEX Exhibition Center 1 (Halls 2–5). With over 30,000 visitors expected in the area, we strongly recommend using public transport (GTX-A or buses) instead of driving.

Where can I store my heavy luggage?

Digital lockers are available in the lobby of KINTEX Exhibition Center 2. However, due to high demand, large lockers will likely fill up early. We recommend using private smart lockers like Keep24 Daehwa Station Exit 4 as a reliable backup for large suitcases.
