Illustar Fes 13 at KINTEX Guide — Tickets, Hours, Cosplay & GTX Transport

Illustar Fes 13 is a major subculture convention taking place on August 29 (Sat) – August 30 (Sun), 2026, at KINTEX Exhibition Center 1 (Halls 4B & 5) in Goyang. The event operates on a 100% online reservation system, meaning no tickets will be sold on-site. Visitors traveling from central Seoul can take the direct GTX-A train line, arriving at GTX-A KINTEX Station from Seoul Station in just 16–17 minutes.

Ticket Types and Pricing#

Online advance purchases come with discounted rates. The table below lists ticket categories and fees.

Important: All mobile QR codes obtained through official booking must be exchanged for a physical wristband at the venue redemption booths before entry.

Cosplay and On-site Amenities#

Cosplay participation does not require pre-registration. However, if you plan to use changing facilities or cloakrooms, you must buy a Cosplay Facility Pass ahead of time.

1. Changing & Makeup Rooms: Located inside Halls 4B & 5 of Exhibition Center 1. Eating or drinking inside these areas is strictly prohibited.
2. Cloakroom / Luggage Storage: Exclusively for Cosplay Facility Pass holders. If public coin lockers in the KINTEX concourse are full, use the official event cloakroom inside the hall.
3. Prop and Costume Safety Rules: Per public venue guidelines, overly revealing attire or realistic weapon replicas are restricted. Review the official dress code rules before arriving.

Directions to KINTEX Exhibition Center 1#

With the opening of the GTX-A line, visitors can reach KINTEX directly from Seoul Station in about 16–17 minutes without transfers.

• GTX-A Express Train: Take Exit 5 at KINTEX Station (킨텍스역) and walk about 10 minutes toward Exhibition Center 1.
• Subway Line 3: Take Exit 2 at Daehwa Station (대화역) and walk about 15 minutes, or transfer to local Bus 058 or 039.
• Parking: KINTEX Exhibition Center 1 parking lot (1,500 KRW for first 30 mins, max 12,000 KRW per day). If full, use Exhibition Center 2 parking or temporary parking lots near Daehwa Station.
