Affiliate Disclosure
GOYANGCON is an independently run site. Being straight about where the money comes from matters as much as getting the facts right, so here is exactly where things stand.
Currently live
If you book through the affiliate links below, GOYANGCON earns a commission from the partner. The price you pay is the same.
- Trip.com — the end of evening (18:00 or later) Goyang Stadium and KINTEX event guides, the trip-home guides, and both venue hubs — a list of hotels in Goyang
There is at most one affiliate placement per page. It is a single sentence and a button after the article ends, not a banner or a widget. Any page carrying one says so at the top of the article, and the placement itself is labelled "Affiliate link" with a link back here. We do not put affiliate links inside the article text.
Not affiliate — our own things
The two below are not another company buying space here. They are built and run by GOYANGCON, and no affiliate commission is involved.
- GOYANGCON Goods (MarppleShop) — merchandise we design and sell ourselves, so the money is sales revenue rather than commission. Shown as a banner at the end of Goyang Stadium concert guides.
- Companion app (app.goyangcon.com) — a free tool we built. Neither an ad nor an affiliate link; it appears only on Goyang Stadium event guides.
Partnerships we ended
All of the placements below ended in August 2026, and the code behind them was deleted.
- Coupang Partners — the packing-list card at the end of concert guides, and the vertical banners in the desktop margins. Both removed.
- Trip.com — the strip above the header, the vertical margin banners, and the in-article hotel search widget. All three removed.
The reason was density. The number of ads a reader met on one screen had got ahead of the problem the article was there to solve. That is why today's placement is one per page and only after the article, and a build check enforces that limit on every page.
Editorial independence
- Recommendations are chosen on editorial grounds only — distance and journey time to the venue, crowding, and whether the place actually works in practice. Commission does not reorder them.
- If an option that earns us commission is slower or more expensive, we say so in the article.
- We do not accept proposals that ask us to change rankings outside editorial criteria.
- Before any new partner goes live, this page is updated first.
Tickets and event information
We do not sell tickets and have no partnership with any ticketing company. Booking links in articles go straight to the official seller and earn us nothing.
