KINTEX (킨텍스) is Goyang's flagship exhibition and concert complex. It is split into Exhibition Center 1 (제1전시장), which holds Halls 1–5, and Exhibition Center 2 (제2전시장). The GTX-A KINTEX Station, opened December 28, 2024, reaches it from Seoul Station in about 16–17 minutes.

- Location: Ilsanseo-gu, Goyang, Gyeonggi-do

## Map and Address

## Main Entrances

The center and hall you use depend on the event. Always check whether your ticket says Exhibition Center 1 or Center 2, along with the hall number. The two centers are only a 3–5 minute walk apart, so a wrong turn is easy to fix, but confirm ahead if your entry time is tight.

## Public Transit

- **GTX-A**: KINTEX Station (킨텍스역) Exit 4 or Exit 5 opened on December 28, 2024. From Seoul Station (서울역) it takes about 16–17 minutes with no transfers, currently the fastest route from Seoul to KINTEX (approx. 10-minute walk from the station).
- **Subway Line 3**: Daehwa Station (대화역) Exit 2 is recommended. The older routes via Daehwa or Juyeop Station (주엽역) still work, requiring about a 20-minute walk or a short bus transfer.
- **Bus**: Routes stop at different locations around the venue. Choose the stop closest to your hall:
  - **KINTEX Stop** (close to Exhibition Center 1): Bus 55, 89, 1100, M7731
  - **KINTEX Center 2 Stop** (in front of Exhibition Center 2 lobby): Bus 33-1, 83, 98, 062
  - **Hillstate Ilsan / Hyundai Motorstudio** (across Exhibition Center 2): Bus 33-1, 83, 98, 062

## Waiting and Eating Before the Show

Around KINTEX, districts like Lafesta (라페스타) and Western Dom (웨스턴돔) offer restaurants and cafes. They are handy for combining a meal with pre-show waiting, and the indoor space means the weather matters less. If you have two hours or more to kill and want to skip the crowds, Bamridan-gil (밤리단길) is a 10–15 minute taxi ride away.

## Restrooms, Convenience Stores, and Luggage

- Restrooms: available inside each exhibition center
- Convenience stores: available inside the centers and around KINTEX Station
- Luggage: coin lockers at the centers or KINTEX Station are an option, but they can fill quickly on big event days

## Getting Home After the Show

After an event, the GTX-A from KINTEX Station is the fastest way back toward Seoul. The platform can get crowded right after a big show, so check the timetable and last-train time in advance. Intercity buses and taxis are also options.
