After a concert at KINTEX (킨텍스), take GTX-A from KINTEX Station (킨텍스역) if you are heading for Seoul Station or downtown Seoul — the last train leaves at 00:42. If you are heading for Gangnam, take Line 3 from Daehwa Station (대화역), where the last useful train is 23:40 on weekdays. The two stations point in different directions, and from Exhibition Center 2 Daehwa is more than twice as far away.

On Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays the Line 3 last train moves almost an hour earlier, to 22:44. GTX-A keeps running later, but after 22:34 it only comes every 15 minutes. Check three things before the show: what time it ends, what day it is, and where you are sleeping.

## Last trains and buses from KINTEX, by destination

This table collects the last train or bus you can use from KINTEX to each destination. Bus times are departures from the first stop of the route, so the bus reaches the stops near KINTEX a few minutes later — be at the stop by the time shown and you will not miss it.

| Destination | Where to board | Weekdays | Saturday | Sun & holidays | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Seoul Station, downtown | GTX-A, KINTEX Station (킨텍스역) | 00:42 | 00:42 | 00:42 | About 17 min, no changes. The official timetable is a single table with no day split |
| Seoul Station (subway with a change) | Line 3 toward Dogok, Daehwa Station (대화역) | 23:40 | 22:44 | 22:44 | Change at Chungmuro (Line 4) or Jongno 3-ga (Line 1) |
| Sungnyemun, Seoul Station (bus) | Bus 1000, Daehwa Station median stop (대화역(중)) | midnight | 23:40 | 23:00 | From the first stop; no change needed |
| Gangnam (Express Bus Terminal, Gyodae, Yangjae, Dogok) | Line 3 toward Dogok, Daehwa Station | 23:40 | 22:44 | 22:44 | No change |
| Daechi, Suseo, Ogeum | Line 3 toward Suseo, Daehwa Station | 23:22 | 22:34 | 22:34 | No change |
| Sinsa, Gangnam Station (bus) | Bus 9700, Daehwa Station median stop | 22:45 | 22:45 | 22:45 | From the first stop; may leave full |
| Hapjeong, Hongdae, Sinchon, Gongdeok | Bus M7731, KINTEX stop (킨텍스) | 00:30 | 00:30 | 00:30 | From the first stop. KINTEX's official guide gives one time for all days |
| Ori Station, Seongnam | Bus 8109, KINTEX Exhibition Center 2 stop | 23:30 | 23:30 | 23:30 | Starts at KINTEX. Every 40–60 min |
| Anyang | Bus 8407, KINTEX Exhibition Center 2 stop | 23:40 | 23:40 | 23:40 | Starts at KINTEX. Every 20–40 min weekdays, 30–60 min weekends |
| Incheon Airport | Airport Bus 3300, Daehwa Station median stop | 21:45 | 21:45 | 21:45 | From the first stop. Already gone after an evening show |

Line 3 has one more train from Daehwa on weekdays, toward Yaksu at 00:03. It does reach Jongno 3-ga and Chungmuro, but by then the Line 1 and Line 4 trains to Seoul Station have stopped, so it is not a last train for Seoul Station or Gangnam. The 23:03 toward Yaksu on Saturdays and holidays arrives at Chungmuro right as the last Line 4 train to Seoul Station (23:56) is leaving, so the change cannot be counted on either.

## Which station is closer: KINTEX Station or Daehwa Station

From KINTEX Exhibition Center 1, GTX-A KINTEX Station and Line 3 Daehwa Station are about the same distance away. From Exhibition Center 2, KINTEX Station is much closer. Daehwa is north of Center 1; KINTEX Station is east of Center 2.

| From | To | Walking distance | Walking time |
|---|---|---|---|
| Exhibition Center 1 | GTX-A KINTEX Station | about 790 m | about 11 min |
| Exhibition Center 1 | Line 3 Daehwa Station | about 900 m | about 12 min |
| Exhibition Center 2 | GTX-A KINTEX Station | about 670 m | about 9 min |
| Exhibition Center 2 | Line 3 Daehwa Station | about 1.5 km | about 20 min |

These are not official figures. They are estimates calculated from OpenStreetMap coordinates and walking routes at a normal pace. Each exhibition center is several hundred metres long, so which door you leave by can change the time by around three minutes either way, and walking out with a concert crowd takes longer. If you are timing a last train, treat these as the minimum.

Some guides say Exhibition Center 2 is about 5 minutes from Daehwa Station. On the map it is the opposite: Center 2 is the part of KINTEX farthest from Daehwa. If your show is in Center 2, Daehwa only makes sense when you are going to Gangnam.

## GTX-A from KINTEX Station: 17 minutes to Seoul Station, last train 00:42

GTX-A from KINTEX Station reaches Seoul Station in about 17 minutes with no changes, and it is the latest-running rail option from KINTEX into Seoul. The fare is about 4,200 KRW (single-journey ticket, weekdays).

Use the exit that matches your hall. The official GTX-A station guide points Exit 1 to Exhibition Center 1 and Exit 5 to Exhibition Center 2. Exit 4 sits right beside Exit 5 (about 45 m apart), so the walk from Center 2 is almost the same — if Exit 5 is jammed, go in through Exit 4. On the way back, follow the signs for the exit on the side of the center you were in. KINTEX Station sits seven levels below ground (B7), so allow extra time to get from the entrance down to the platform.

The last train runs late, but trains thin out as the night goes on. Counting the official timetable for trains toward Seoul from KINTEX Station gives this:

```chart type="column" title="GTX-A trains toward Seoul from KINTEX Station, by hour" unit="trains"
| Hour | Trains |
|---|---|
| 21:00–21:59 | 7 |
| 22:00–22:59 | 5 |
| 23:00–23:59 | 4 |
| **00:00–00:42** | 3 |
```

After the 22:34 train the next one is 22:49, then 23:04, 23:19, 23:34 and 23:49 — one every 15 minutes. After midnight only three remain: 00:04, 00:22 and 00:42. If your show ends around 23:00 and you just miss a train, the next one is 15 minutes away; after midnight the wait can be up to 20 minutes.

The official GTX-A timetable is published as a single table with no separate weekend schedule (checked October 15, 2026). Nothing on it suggests weekend times differ, but for a Saturday or holiday show it is worth checking the same timetable again before you set out.

## Line 3 from Daehwa Station: straight to Gangnam, last weekend train 22:44

Line 3 from Daehwa Station runs to Gangnam — Express Bus Terminal, Gyodae, Yangjae and Dogok — with no change. Daehwa is the end of the line, so every train starts there.

The last train depends heavily on the day. The final train that still gets you to Gangnam or to a Seoul Station connection runs toward Dogok: 23:40 on weekdays, 22:44 on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays. For Daechi, Suseo and Ogeum, the last train toward Suseo leaves at 23:22 on weekdays and 22:34 at weekends and on holidays.

If a weekend show ends after 22:00, the 22:44 train gets tight, because from Exhibition Center 2 it is about a 20-minute walk to Daehwa. Bus 9700 from the Daehwa Station median stop toward Gangnam also makes its last departure from the first stop at 22:45, so once you have missed Line 3, there is no bus left in that direction either. At that point, take GTX-A to Seoul Station and continue from there.

## Buses from KINTEX: 1000, 9700, M7731, 8109 and 8407

The buses you can use to get home from KINTEX leave from three different stops:

- Daehwa Station median bus stop (대화역(중)): the stop in the middle of the road right outside Daehwa Station. Bus 1000 (Sungnyemun and Seoul Station), Bus 9700 (Sinsa and Gangnam Station) and Airport Bus 3300 (Incheon Airport) stop here.
- KINTEX stop (킨텍스): Bus M7731 (Hapjeong, Hongik Univ., Sinchon, Gongdeok) stops here, according to KINTEX's official transport guide. The same route also stops at the Hillstate Ilsan · Hyundai Motorstudio Goyang stop (힐스테이트 일산·현대모터스튜디오고양).
- KINTEX Exhibition Center 2 stop (킨텍스 제2전시장): Bus 8109 (Ori Station, Seongnam) and Bus 8407 (Anyang) start their trips here, because KINTEX is the end of both routes.

Bus 1000 goes to Seoul Station with no change and its last weekday departure from the first stop is at midnight, which makes it the fallback once the last Line 3 train (23:40) has gone. On Sundays and public holidays it stops an hour earlier, at 23:00. Bus M7731 runs every 7–11 minutes on weekdays and its last departure from the first stop is 00:30, so if you are staying around Hongdae or Sinchon it can be easier than GTX-A.

All bus times here are departures from the first stop. The M7731, 8109 and 8407 times come from KINTEX's official transport guide and could not be cross-checked with the Gyeonggi bus information system, so check the route information once more before you leave.

## If you miss the last train

Once the 00:42 GTX-A and the last M7731 have gone, every train and bus covered in this guide has stopped. What is left is a taxi or a room near KINTEX.

If your show is scheduled to end after 23:00, compare the GTX-A last train with the expected finish time when you buy your ticket, and decide on a hotel then. If a weekend show leaves you needing to get to Gangnam, Line 3 stops at 22:44 — so decide in advance whether you will stay for the encore or book a room nearby.

For a taxi, the address to show the driver for KINTEX is 217 Kintex-ro, Ilsanseo-gu, Goyang-si, Gyeonggi-do (경기도 고양시 일산서구 킨텍스로 217).

## Getting to Incheon Airport

Airport Bus 3300 to Incheon Airport stops at the Daehwa Station median bus stop, but its last departure from the first stop is 21:45, so after an evening show it has already gone. It works if your event is a daytime exhibition or fair.

Getting to the airport by rail late at night means taking GTX-A to Seoul Station, or Line 3 and the Seohae Line to Gimpo Airport, and changing to AREX (the Airport Railroad). AREX has announced new train times starting October 23, 2026, so check the last train on the official AREX timetable for your date. If your flight is the next morning, staying near KINTEX and taking an early train avoids the last-train risk altogether. Airport routes from the Daehwa Station side are covered in [How to Get from Goyang Stadium (Daehwa Station) to Incheon Airport](/en/guides/daehwa-to-incheon-airport/).

## Before you go: last trains, transit cards and lockers

- Seoul-area subways and GTX-A do not run all night. Service stops around midnight, and the "last train" (막차) in Korean signs and apps means exactly that — there is no later train until the morning.
- A rechargeable transit card such as T-money works on GTX-A, Line 3 and the buses above. Tap in and tap out on trains; on buses, tap when you get on and again when you get off.
- KINTEX's lockers follow the venue's operating hours, so collect your bag before heading to the station. Locker locations, fees and the 24-hour lockers at Daehwa Station are in [KINTEX & Goyang Stadium luggage storage](/en/guides/kintex-luggage-storage/).
