AirAsia HYROX Seoul 2026 runs for three days, **Friday November 13 to Sunday November 15, 2026, at KINTEX in Goyang** — a satellite city just northwest of Seoul, not COEX in Gangnam. Athlete check-in opens at 07:30 each day and the organizer's provisional schedule has the last wave starting around 20:00. From Seoul Station the GTX-A express takes about 16–17 minutes to KINTEX Station (킨텍스역), and after a weekend evening wave the train to count on is the last GTX-A at 00:42, not the 22:44 subway.

HYROX alternates eight 1 km runs with eight workout stations. As of November 3, 2026, neither the official event page, the ticket shop nor KINTEX's own event calendar names the exhibition centre or hall the race uses, so this guide covers the walk to both KINTEX buildings.

## HYROX Seoul 2026 Dates, Venue and Spectator Tickets

These details come from the official HYROX event page and the HYROX Korea ticket shop.

Korean outlet The Public (November 2, 2026) reported around 19,000 athletes from 65 countries, which makes this the largest HYROX race held in Korea so far. Expect KINTEX Station to be busy at morning check-in and again in the evening.

One small wording gap: the English FAQ grants free entry to children "aged 12 and below", while the Korean text on the ticket shop says under 12. If you are bringing a 12-year-old, ask at the ticket desk before you queue.

## HYROX Seoul Check-in Times by Division

Most athletes check in at KINTEX on race day. The organizer's published windows are below. Note that the evening slots also take check-in for the next morning's first division.

- **Early check-in for Friday racers**: Thursday November 12, 11:00–19:00, at EPIC SEOUL on the 5th floor of The Hyundai Seoul department store in Yeouido (108 Yeouidae-ro, Yeongdeungpo-gu). Only Friday Men Open, Doubles Men Open, Women Open and Doubles Mixed athletes can use it, and there is no spectator check-in there.
- **Adaptive athletes**: check in at the help desk, either at early registration or on race day.
- **What to bring**: your e-ticket barcode on your phone or printed, plus photo ID. Nobody can check in for someone else.
- **Timing chip**: you get it at check-in, wear it on your right ankle, and hand it back in the finish area. Losing it costs a fee.

## Spectator Tickets and the Athlete Wristband Rule

At HYROX Seoul your athlete wristband is a ticket **only on the day of your own race**. If you race Friday and want to cheer a friend on Sunday, you need a Sunday spectator ticket.

- Athletes who want to get into the hall before their check-in window can enter through the spectator entrance using their athlete ticket QR code, on race day only.
- Spectator tickets are day tickets for Friday, Saturday or Sunday. Watching all three days means three tickets.
- The official FAQ says the spectator area is laid out so supporters can stand close to almost every workout station.

## Getting to KINTEX for HYROX Seoul

KINTEX has two rail stations. From central Seoul or either airport, **GTX-A KINTEX Station** (킨텍스역) is the fastest. From Gangnam, Subway Line 3 runs straight to its terminus at Daehwa Station (대화역) with no transfers.

| From | Route | Time | Transfers |
|---|---|---|---|
| Seoul Station | GTX-A → KINTEX Station | about 16–17 min on the train | 0 |
| Gimpo Airport | Seohae Line → Daegok Station (대곡역) → GTX-A → KINTEX Station | about 45 min | 1 |
| Incheon Airport | AREX commuter train → Seoul Station → GTX-A → KINTEX Station | about 90 min, including the Seoul Station transfer | 1 |
| Gangnam area | Line 3 → Daehwa Station (terminus) | then walk | 0 |

The exit depends on the building. GTX-A's official station information points **Exit 1** (1번 출구) to **Exhibition Center 1** (제1전시장) and Goyang Stadium, and **Exit 5** (5번 출구) to **Exhibition Center 2** (제2전시장). Once the hall is announced, use the exit for that building.

| From | To Exhibition Center 1 | To Exhibition Center 2 |
|---|---|---|
| GTX-A KINTEX Station | about 790 m, roughly an 11-minute walk | about 670 m, roughly a 9-minute walk |
| Line 3 Daehwa Station | about 900 m, roughly a 12-minute walk | about 1.5 km, roughly a 20-minute walk |

Walking times are normal-pace estimates from OpenStreetMap walking routes. The GTX-A platforms sit seven floors underground (B7), so allow extra time to ride up to street level. Step-by-step routes are in [Seoul Station to KINTEX](/en/guides/seoul-station-to-kintex/), [Incheon Airport to KINTEX](/en/guides/incheon-airport-to-kintex/) and [Gimpo Airport to KINTEX](/en/guides/gimpo-airport-to-kintex/).

**KINTEX is not COEX**. GQ Korea (November 7, 2025) reported that the first HYROX Seoul race in 2025 took place at COEX in Gangnam. This year's race is in Goyang, so search for "KINTEX" or the Korean address 킨텍스로 217-60 in your map app.

## When to Arrive

The HYROX Korea FAQ asks athletes to arrive **at least 90 minutes before their individual start time**, which covers check-in, fitting the chip and warming up. Start times are linked on the event page about three days before the race and cannot be changed.

That 90 minutes is counted from the hall door. If you come by GTX-A, add the ride up from the B7 platform and the 9–11 minute walk to the exhibition centre on top. If you are in a 07:30 check-in group, look up the first GTX-A train on the official timetable the night before.

Spectators only need to match their athlete's start time. If you plan to buy a ticket at the venue, leave time for the ticket desk queue.

## Bags, Changing and Water

As of November 3, 2026, the official HYROX Seoul information says nothing about bag drop, changing rooms or showers. Arriving in race kit with a small bag for a change of clothes and a towel keeps things simple.

- **KINTEX lockers**: in Exhibition Center 1 they sit beside the entrances to Halls 1–4; in Exhibition Center 2 they are near Halls 6 and 10 and in the central lobby on the 2nd floor. Small 1,000 KRW, medium 2,000 KRW, large 3,000 KRW, payable by credit card, transit card, cash or Samsung Pay. Visitors to the other expos that weekend use the same lockers, so they can run out. See [KINTEX Luggage Storage](/en/guides/kintex-luggage-storage/) for locations.
- **Daehwa Station lockers**: open 24 hours; small 2,000 KRW, medium 3,000 KRW, large 4,000 KRW for the first 4 hours. Useful if you come straight from the airport with a suitcase.
- **Water**: the event page lists a hydration station on the course. Bring your own water for the warm-up.

## Other KINTEX Events the Same Weekend

KINTEX hosts other large events from November 13 to 15, so HYROX athletes share the lobbies, lockers, convenience stores and KINTEX Station gates with other crowds.

| Date | Event | Location |
|---|---|---|
| Nov 12–15 | [MEGASHOW 2026 Season 2](/en/events/megashow-season2-2026-kintex/) | Exhibition Center 1, Halls 2, 3 and 4 |
| Nov 11–13 | Korea International Elevator Expo 2026 | Exhibition Center 1, Hall 5 |
| Sat Nov 14 | Seoul Card Festa | Exhibition Center 2, Hall 6A |
| Sat Nov 14, 19:00 | [Jason Mraz concert](/en/events/jason-mraz-2026-kintex/) | Exhibition Center 1, Hall 1 |
| Sun Nov 15, morning | [GARMIN RUN Korea](/en/events/garmin-run-2026-goyang/) | starts at Goyang Stadium |

- **Saturday evening**: the Jason Mraz concert starts at 19:00, so its audience arrives while the Saturday evening Pro waves are checking in. Exit 1 at KINTEX Station, on the Exhibition Center 1 side, is likely to be the busiest.
- **Sunday morning**: GARMIN RUN Korea starts at Goyang Stadium and closes roads around Ilsan. If your check-in is at 07:30 on Sunday, a taxi or car can get caught in the closures — take GTX-A or Line 3. The closed sections are in the GARMIN RUN guide.
- **Driving**: the HYROX event page lists KINTEX parking at 3,720 KRW per hour or 19,000 KRW for the day. KINTEX expo organizers also note that the Exhibition Center 1 car park is closed for construction of a third exhibition centre, so there are fewer spaces than usual. Public transport is the better choice; if you must drive, read the [KINTEX & Goyang Stadium Parking Guide](/en/guides/kintex-goyang-stadium-parking/) first.

## Getting Back After the Final Wave

The last wave at HYROX Seoul is scheduled to start around 20:00 on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. By the time you finish and pack up it is easily past 21:00, and that is when the weekday-versus-weekend timetables start to matter.

| Option | Where to board | Last service | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| GTX-A | KINTEX Station | toward Seoul Station 00:42 (every 15 min after 22:34; final two at 00:22 and 00:42) | about 17 min to Seoul Station; one timetable for all days |
| Line 3 | Daehwa Station | last Dogok-bound train you can change from for Seoul Station: 23:40 Fri, 22:44 Sat–Sun | direct to Gangnam and Express Bus Terminal |
| Bus 1000 | Daehwa Station (center lane stop, 대화역(중)) | last departure from its starting point: 00:00 Fri, 23:40 Sat, 23:00 Sun | to Sungnyemun and Seoul Station, no transfers |
| Bus M7731 | KINTEX stop | last departure from its starting point 00:30 | Hapjeong, Hongik Univ., Sinchon, Gongdeok |
| Bus 8109 | KINTEX Exhibition Center 2 stop | 23:30 | toward Ori Station, Seongnam |
| Bus 8407 | KINTEX Exhibition Center 2 stop | 23:40 | toward Anyang |

- **Saturday and Sunday evening racers**: the 22:44 Line 3 cutoff comes early. If you are heading to central Seoul or changing at Seoul Station, plan on GTX-A.
- **Going straight to Incheon Airport**: the last Airport Bus 3300 leaves its starting point near Daehwa at 21:45, so it is gone by the time evening waves finish. Take GTX-A to Seoul Station and switch to AREX; check the AREX last-train times on its official timetable.
- More late-night options are in [Getting Home After KINTEX Concerts](/en/guides/kintex-after-concert-last-train/).

## Tips for Athletes and Supporters Coming from Abroad

Many athletes at HYROX Seoul are flying in. If this is your first time in Korea, sort these out in advance.

- **ID means your passport**: check-in requires photo ID, and for overseas athletes that is the original passport.
- **Transit card**: GTX-A, Line 3 and local buses all take T-money and similar cards. Buy one at an airport convenience store and top it up so you are not buying single-journey tickets at every station.
- **Taxi destination**: show the driver 킨텍스 or the full address 경기도 고양시 일산서구 킨텍스로 217-60. On Sunday morning the GARMIN RUN road closures are hard to avoid by car.
- **Where to stay**: if you are staying in central Seoul, the Seoul Station area puts you one GTX-A ride from KINTEX.
